The 37th Annual Prairie Arts Festival will be held on the grounds of Schaumburg’s Al Larson Prairie Center for the Arts and Robert O. Atcher Municipal Center on May 23 and 24, 2026. This juried fine arts fair, which draws artists from all over the Midwest, highlights the work of over 100 artists exhibiting and selling their work including clay/pottery, digital, drawing, fiber, furniture, glass, jewelry, leather, metal, mixed media 2D, mixed media 3D, natural materials, painting (including acrylic, gouache, oil, pastel, watercolor), paper, photography, printmaking, sculpture, and woodworking. Large crowds are expected again this year as the fest’s reputation as one of the areas finest has reached all parts of the Chicagoland area.

We are working with the Daily Herald again this year to create a newspaper program insert. This insert, which will serve as a guide for patrons, will include a listing of artists with their booth numbers and art medium, map of the grounds, schedule of live entertainment, food truck vendors, and advertising. The guide will appear in select editions of the Daily Herald on Friday, May 15, and will be distributed to everyone attending the Prairie Arts Festival as well. Please include any specials, coupons, upcoming events, grand opening information about your company, or mention support for the Prairie Arts Festival in your ad. Restaurants may want to consider mentioning that patrons may dine with them after the festival. This unique marketing opportunity is an excellent way of supporting your community while promoting your company and getting your advertising message out to our patrons!
